Welcome to my office.

This is how I will assist students in our school:

- Participate in the development and implementation of an Individualized Education Plan to help our students with difficulties in the Highschool sector. This involves establishing objectives, means of intervention, as well as assessing needed support. This is achieved by gathering information from teachers and parents. It also entails reading and following psychoeducational, neuropsychological assessments and reports from various specialists. The goal being to implement the recommendations.

- Contribute to the detection and recognition of students experiencing difficulties, with a view to prevention and intervention. This is implemented by continued collaboration throughout the school year, with team members, parents and specialists. The main goal being to implement strategies, to evaluate achievement of specific goals, as well as tracking overall academic success.

-Provide exam accommodations and establishing specific allowances for assignments. 

- Regularly develop and revise the student's Individualized Education Plan to encourage academic achievement and attainment of specific objectives

- Accompany and advise teachers.

- Provide materials to reinforce competencies.

- Meet with students individually, in groups or as a class.

- Advise and support teachers in integrating students into regular classrooms and suggest methods of intervention appropriate to the student's situation.

- Refer students or parents to resources appropriate to the situation and needs.

-Assist and guide our International students. This encompasses providing educational materials to support language acquisition.

-Coordinates retake exams for particular circumstances such as illness, hospitalization or funerals. 

-Mentor students with academic and/or with social issues and provide close

 communication with parents and teachers to better serve our students and lead them to academic success.
