Trip to New York City

April 9 to 12 , 2024

Day 1

First day in New York! After several hours of traveling by car, checking into our hotel, and boarding a bus to New York, we finally arrived in the city. Our first stop? The beautiful Grand Central Station. We then headed to Times Square, where we enjoyed some delicious food and did some shopping. Later, we visited the Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and took a stroll down Park Avenue and Madison Street. Finally, we were picked up near the theater district by our bus and returned to our hotel. What a memorable day!

Day 2

This was indeed an incredibly busy day filled with unforgettable experiences. We started by boarding the bus to the train station and arrived at the 9/11 Memorial. The solemnity and reverence of the memorial park left a lasting impression on everyone. Next, we explored Battery Park, Wall Street, Trinity Church, and City Hall before walking across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Afterward, we hopped on the metro to visit the Empire State Building and enjoyed breathtaking views of New York City from the top. Later in the evening, we savored a delicious supper in the theater district before attending the incredible Broadway show "Back to the Future." The energy and excitement of the performance were truly exhilarating. After the show, we indulged in a Crispy Cream snack before heading back to the hotel on the bus. Overall, it was a day filled with remarkable sights and unforgettable moments that we'll cherish forever.

Day 3

That sounds like an action-packed day full of exciting adventures! Visiting Chelsea Market is always a treat, with its diverse range of food and shops. Madison Square Garden is such an iconic venue, and a walk around there must have been a blast. Macy's is legendary for its shopping experience, and Central Park offers a beautiful contrast with its tranquil greenery. The Museum of Natural History is a gem of knowledge and discovery.

And ending the day at Medieval Times adds a fun historical twist to the whole experience! What was your favorite part of the day?

Day 4

Day 4 marked the conclusion of our incredible adventure. We started by packing our bags and bidding farewell to our hotel, reminiscing about the wonderful experiences we had during our stay. Next, we headed to the ferry that would transport us to the iconic Statue of Liberty. The ferry ride offered stunning views of the city skyline and the majestic statue itself, a symbol of freedom and hope.

After our visit to the Statue of Liberty, we boarded the ferry once again, this time heading back to our cars in New Jersey. As we departed from New Jersey, we carried with us cherished memories of our trip and the excitement of sharing our experiences with friends and family back home in Montreal.

Overall, Day 4 marked the end of our adventure-filled journey, leaving us with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the places we visited and the people we met along the way.
